Get ready to travel back in time to the Ice Age as we explore how large sheets of ice covered the land and bodies of water turned into giant glaciers. We will discover how animals and early humans had to adapt to this cold, snowy environment through experiments, engineering, and art!

Camp will be running Dec. 29, 30 and Jan. 2.

ABOUT DISCOVERY CAMPS

Discovery camps are the perfect way to keep your child’s mind engaged while school is out. In keeping with the Discovery Center’s educational philosophy, children will explore weekly themes through hands-on interactive activities that will spark their curiosity, engage their senses, and unleash their creativity. The children have so much fun they don’t even realize they’re learning!

All camps include visits to the Discovery Center galleries, outdoor play and a morning and afternoon snack. Lunch may be purchased from the Discovery Center’s Kids Cafe for $5 or brought from home. Discovery camps have a short time after lunch children may rest, but not a full nap time. Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
